The Generac GNC-6340 is a 30-amp, 4-prong non-metallic power inlet box with a flip lid, made for hooking up a portable generator from outside the house. It carries a 30-amp, 120/240V male inlet in the NEMA L14-30 configuration on the bottom.
The enclosure is a glass-filled nylon NEMA 3R design. Its lid is mounted on the bottom and flips up to keep out dirt, insects and moisture, and the unit holds its raintight rating even while a cord is connected.
